The answer is always 'Waterpistols'

I have recently been lucky enough to work with artist and musician Anat-Ben David.
Previously the performance artist has borrowed some of my designs for solo gigs and gigs with her band Chicks on Speed and I was since comissioned to create a dress for her upcoming tour around Europe with Stereo Total.

After putting our heads together I created a boned jersey dress which encompassed huge movement with change and visual disorder (even if it was a little heavy to pull around Europe...)

-But how could we dye it in a way that would encompass the surreal movement but wouldn't
a) Look out of place and dowdy on such a large and conceptual garment
b) Look obscenely 'overdone'.

The answer? Water pistols filled with dye!
I hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed creating them.
